Istvan PorubszkyArtist going back 60 years Great & valuable painting by Hungarian/Canadian artist - Istvan Porubszky - Montreal, CanadaBorn in 1931 at Kispest near Budapest, Hungary. He and his family arrived to Canada in early 1958. Mostly he paints landscapes utilizing brush and pallet knife to emphasize depth and natural colours of nature. He was recognized very early and his first work was sold for $500 in 1962. His artwork was exhibited in New York, Boston, Budapest, Toronto, Sidney and Montreal galleries but it's very rare to find any today. Life's passage-way images:
